DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand for the second year\, Lowcountry Land Trust will partner with over 50 local\, conservation-minded organizations to continue its Lowcountry Earth Week initiative in 2024. This week-long celebration of the Lowcountry’s natural environment (April 22-28) is set to feature a diverse array of volunteer opportunities\, nature activities\, seminars\, workshops\, and festivals. The initiative aims to engage the community and raise awareness about the importance of the many methods of conservation in the Lowcountry. The grand culmination will be a family-friendly Earth Week celebration and exhibition at Holy City Brewing in North Charleston\, SC on Sunday\, April 28\, 2024\, from 11 am to 3 pm. \n  \nLowcountry Earth Week\, scheduled from April 22-28\, 2024\, is poised to be a momentous occasion\, bringing together individuals\, organizations\, and communities in a collective effort to celebrate and protect the region’s natural wonders. SUMMARY:Painting At The Angel Oak
DESCRIPTION:Community members are invited to put their artistic abilities to the test at this first-ever Painting at the Angel Oak. Facilitated by local artist Frank DeLoach\, attendees of all levels are encouraged to put their spin on the beautiful masterpiece – The Angel Oak. \nAll supplies will be provided\, including a canvas\, paint\, and paintbrushes. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own art supplies. \nReusable water bottles\, folding chairs\, bug spray\, and sunscreen are all recommended.
