It’s worth all the effort –  the result is a perfectly sweet\, beautiful amber syrup – the same syrup enjoyed for generations prior to granulated sugar’s ready availability. Be part of the negotiation and taste one of the sweetest bounties that comes from the lowcountry. \nGuests are invited to come out to Lavington Plantation when the cooking begins at 10:00 am and stay until the last drops of cane syrup are bottled in the mid-afternoon.
