Join Audubon South Carolina staff on a bird walk at Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve to learn about shorebirds, seabirds, and coastal songbirds that occupy this active and important barrier island habitat. Allyssa Zebrowski, Coastal Stewardship Coordinator, will lead participants down the path and beach to observe shorebirds and seabirds exhibiting early nesting behavior and the importance of the Coastal Stewardship Program. Anyone interested in volunteering as a coastal shorebird steward will have the opportunity to understand what the program entails and how to be involved.
Free event limited to 20 participants.
