Southeast farmers can learn tips to maximize profitability on cotton and peanut crops at meetings planned by the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service this month.

The Clemson Cooperative Extension is hosting the Woodland Management program. This is a series of workshops designed to educate participants on forest management.

The Tri-County Forestry Association will be hosting Kathryn Basha from Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (COG). In this workshop, you will learn about the biology, history, and the status of the coyote as well as harvesting and trapping techniques, and laws and regulations in regards to managing for coyotes. After the classroom portion, a professional trapper will demonstrate proper trapping techniques for you to see and try hands on.
