On Wednesday the Lowcountry Open Land Trust held a Press Announcement at Angel Oak to celebrate Charleston County Greenbelt’s commitment of 2.4 million toward the purchase of Angel Oak Preserve. At the event Mayor Riley announced that the he would like for the City of Charleston to contribute $250,000 toward the 1.2 million the Land Trust needs to raise for Angel Oak Preserve. Great kickoff to the Angel Oak Preserve Fundraising Campaign!
