Lowcountry Land Trust is excited to announce four paid summer internship opportunities for degree-seeking students passionate about land conservation and environmental protection.
- Community Engagement (Angel Oak Preserve) Intern: This position will provide community outreach, program building, and research support to the Angel Oak Preserve department at Lowcountry Land Trust. The intern will experience how a local nonprofit approaches relationship building, research, and data analysis to advance the organization’s work.
- Community Engagement (Center for Conservation) Intern: This position will provide community outreach, program building, and research support to the Advancement department at Lowcountry Land Trust. The intern will experience how a local nonprofit approaches relationship building, research, and data analysis to advance the organization’s work.
- Land Conservation Intern: This position will provide administrative support to the land protection team and assist in fulfilling land stewardship obligations of Lowcountry Land Trust’s conservation easements. The intern will spend time outdoors on beautiful protected properties and experience a glimpse into the work of landscape protection and stewardship.
- Land Trust Operations Intern: This position will provide administrative support to the various departments at Lowcountry Land Trust to ensure operational efficiency. The intern will experience the operational functions of a land trust and how those functions advance the organization as a whole.
These internships offer a unique opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience in the field of land conservation while making a positive impact on the local community.
