Lowcountry Land Trust recently added 35 acres to Caw Caw Interpretive Center in Ravenel with the permanent protection of Holly Grove. Thanks to strategic collaboration with Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission (CCPRC), the 35-acre Holly Grove conservation easement expands public access to nature, enhances water quality, and ensures the long-term conservation of vital habitats in one of Charleston County’s most ecologically and recreationally valuable public spaces.
To celebrate, we invite you to join us for a guided bird walk at Caw Caw Interpretive Center! Led by Master Naturalist Keith McCullough (CCPRC), we will fuel our souls observing and learning about the diverse avian species that call this area home. From wetlands to woodlands, both amateur and advanced bird watchers will have the opportunity to enjoy the diverse habitats of Caw Caw Interpretive Center, identifying an array of species along the way.
