The Lowcountry Center for Conservation is located directly between Charleston Fire Department Station 12 and Old Towne Creek County Park.







SAM CARLTON ROOM
Available for large events or meetings.
Room Capacity:
- 150 max standing, cocktail style (5 cocktail tables)
- 80 people, lecture-style (chairs only)
- 48 people, banquet-style (6 round tables with 8 chairs each)
- 24-36 people, classroom-style (12 rectangular tables with 2-3 chairs each)
- 16-24 people, conference-style (8 rectangular tables with 2-3 chairs each)

- Audio/visual system with computer hookups and Zoom
- Podium with microphones
- Wifi
- Catering kitchen with appliances, dinnerware, and utensils
- Grass lawn/terrace (58’x23′) with power and outdoor furniture
- Screened porch with power and outdoor furniture





HIGH POINT CONFERENCE ROOM
Available for small meetings hosted by select partner organizations.
Room Capacity:
- 14-20 people, conference-style
- Table and chairs seat 14
- Chairs can be brought in for 6 additional people

- Audio/visual system with computer hookups and Zoom
- Printer
- Wifi
Amenities:
- Catering counter with mini fridge and coffee maker
- Use of the staff kitchen
- Use of the staff porch/balcony
ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION
To ensure fair access and adequate planning, meetings and events may not be booked more than one year in advance and must be requested at least two weeks before the meeting date.

When promoting your event, please respect Lowcountry Land Trust’s brand guidelines:
- Always refer to the location as the Lowcountry Center for Conservation, followed by the address (1362 Old Towne Road, Charleston, SC 29407).
- Always refer to the room you are using by name:
- High Point Conference Room; OR
- Sam Carlton Room
- Hosting an event at the Lowcountry Center for Conservation does not make Lowcountry Land Trust an event co-host, and it should not be referred to as such in marketing communications.
- Instead, use language such as “Join us at Lowcountry Land Trust’s hub for conservation for . . . [Insert event name here]“
35 parking spaces, including 2 handicapped spaces, are available in the Lowcountry Center for Conservation parking lot. 10 additional cars can be parked along the entry drive.
Parking is available at nearby churches, and the event host can rent shuttle services if necessary.
