SAVE THE DATE FOR THIS YEAR'S SPORTING CLAYS SHOOT: OCTOBER 24-26, 2025

The significance of Brosnan Forest cannot be overstated. The property is an anchor within the near-contiguous greenbelt surrounding the growing Charleston region, protecting water quality and vital wildlife habitats. When you drive onto the property, you are immediately enveloped by towering longleaf pine trees, one of the largest protected forests of this type in the United States. Spending a morning or an afternoon immersed in this property shooting clays is an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience.

The video to the left highlights Lowcountry Land Trust’s Sporting Clays Shoot fundraiser. Guests of the event enjoy a professionally set clays course highlighting the scenic landscape of a renowned ecological treasure – Brosnan Forest – a private property that is protected through a conservation easement held by Lowcountry Land Trust. Experienced and novice shooters are encouraged to attend one of five total rotations throughout the weekend, including the Ladies Shoot & Luncheon presented by Garden & Gun.
