Ashley River Cleanup

Join Summerville Saltwater Anglers, Dorchester County, Charleston Waterkeeper, Lowcountry Land Trust, Ashley Ridge Cares and Keep Dorchester County Beautiful for a cleanup on your local waterway, the Ashley Scenic River. The coalition is seeking volunteers to remove trash from the main channel via boat and volunteers to remove trash from land and local tributaries. Volunteers with pickup trucks to haul trash from land-based locations back to Jessen Landing are needed, as well. On the day of the event, groups will be assigned a specific cleanup location based on age, ability levels and group size.
