Today, South Carolina Radio Network covered the Boeing land donation to Lowcountry Open Land Trust.
State officials have given their OK to Boeing’s proposed donation of nearly 1,700 acres for a new forest preserve in Berkeley County. The donation will offset wetlands damage when Boeing expands its North Charleston plant. The Joint Bond Review Committee this week signed off on the sale of the Quenby Barony.
