MEET SAM SEAWELL

We are excited to announce that we have further expanded our Stewardship Team and welcomed Sam Seawell to the LLT family! Sam is our newest Stewardship Associate, working with our landowners and properties in our Mid-Coast and North Coast regions alongside our seasoned Project Managers, Ashton Lamb and Bruce Binney. Sam’s previous work and life experiences make him a great addition to our staff.

Focus Areas: North Coast and Mid Coast

Hometown: Born and Raised on the Gulf Coast of Alabama

Education: Bachelor of Art in Environment and Sustainability from Sewanee: The University of the South

Background: The son of a forester and grandson of a veterinarian, Sam follows in the footsteps laid before him by his grandfather and mother, beginning the third generation of conservationists in his family. Sam has had the opportunity to work all over the United States having spent time in the timberlands of the Gulf Coast, the foothills of North Georgia and Alabama, the mountains of Tennessee and West Virginia, all the way to the high plains of Wyoming and Montana.

Outside the office: Sam is an avid fisherman, fanatic soccer fan, and live music enthusiast. He can be found exploring the streets of Charleston and the woods with his dog Maggie.
