Candy’s Cove at Shemwood II

In January 2013 the Town of Mount Pleasant transferred title of this 2-acre wooded lot to the Shemwood II Community Association. It is adjacent to “Peggy’s Park,” the community’s small playground and picnic area, and has long been a favorite play area for kids in the neighborhood as well as a community gathering place. East Cooper Land Trust holds a conservation easement on this property and will ensure it remains natural in perpetuity. Media Coverage: The Post and Courier – January 30, 2013
