Bluebird box monitoring volunteers Kim Anuszkiewicz and Peggy Barnes will lead a walk around the grounds of The Sanctuary to visit some of Kiawah Island’s volunteer-monitored nest boxes. Come and learn why they are important to the Eastern Bluebird.

The Kiawah Conservancy is a non-profit organization established in 1997 to preserve the natural habitat of Kiawah Island. It is a holder of land and conservation easements, and as so, acts as a land trust. The mission of the Kiawah Conservancy is to measure, manage, improve, and advocate for the ecological health of Kiawah Island and its environs.
