The Land Trust extends a big thank you to our summer 2104 interns. They were a pleasure to work with and helped us accomplish an incredible amount of work.
The LOLT Summer Internship Program was created to provide college and graduate students with the opportunity to contribute to the conservation of the South Carolina Lowcountry during their summer break while receiving invaluable work experience and taking part in some serious summer adventures! Interns spend the summer contributing to the long-term success of LOLT by assisting the staff in the management of a diverse and dynamic project catalogue, including some of the Lowcountry’s most breathtaking private properties, as well as other important conservation duties. The Program offers interns an opportunity to play a key role in our organization, utilizing their specialized and developing skillsets in a myriad of ways from legal review to GIS mapping to hot and buggy field work! LOLT also has additional intern opportunities throughout the year within various departments including Development, Education & Outreach, and Non-Profit Administration. Please submit your resume and cover letter if you are interested in interning with the land trust to info@lowcountrylandtrust.org.
