Oyster Shell/Trash Sorting

Join the Department of Natural Resource’s SCORE Program and Charleston Waterkeeper in the oyster shell recycling process!

We’re looking for some volunteers to help us as we team up with DNR’s SCORE Program (score.dnr.sc.gov) to sort through recycled oyster shells and pick out debris and recyclables. All supplies will be provided. Please bring your reusable water bottle and come dressed to get dirty in closed-toed shoes. Volunteers must be at least 10 years old to participate. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Please reply to your confirmation email to let us know if you are under 18.
